On 28th November 1964 the new church was consecrated by the Bishop of Blackburn.

After 40 years of worshipping in the wooden building on what is now the front lawn, this was a dream come true for our parishioners!

60th Birthday Commemoration Service

What a wonderful occasion this was as friends old and new gathered around the Lord’s table in worshipful obedience, a fitting way to mark this very special anniversary.

We were thrilled to be joined by A Company of Voyces and their musical director Robin Stopford, familiar to us all as our most regular organist. It was such a treat to have our church music enhanced in this way, as was the opportunity to sing two brand new hymns, music composed by Robin and dedicated to our church and its people.

All Saints’ Church

60th Anniversary Project

To mark the 60th anniversary of the church, we created an Anniversary Garden at the front of the church. The garden is accessible to people of all ages. Here they can take a moment to pause, reflect or pray.

The garden was fully funded by generous donations made during 2024 and 2025 by members of our congregation and wider community.
